I used to love dA. I really did.

But what's with the sheer desperation to get everyone to subscribe. Ads everywhere, constant reminders of what normal members DON'T get, hierachy formed with paid subscribers being termed as "better".

It's not what this place used to be.

I'm torn: subscribe to shut them up and get the hell off my back; or leave completely.

I know I'm not the only one. dA is slowly but surely putting people off. There might be a great community the place might be successful for very good reason, but the money has gone to their heads. It's such a shame.
